Leading Scottish specialist clothing and workwear supplier Lynben, having contracted for a replacement business management and management information system in mid October, have gone 'live' on the system in just three weeks.

Industry specialist IT vendor XeBusiness have supplied their flagship package Xe-ERP to handle Lynben's CRM, Finished Inventory, CMT and MRP requirements. The Xe-ERP wearer pack module will also be deployed to allow Lynben to manage and ship garment requirements down to individual employee level as a value added service to both end users and other corporatewear suppliers.

The company was previously using a generic, cross industry system that has been replaced by the specialist XeBusiness product. The accounting part of the previous system will continue in use with a standard integration link into Xe-ERP.

The new system is expected to make a strategic contribution to supporting Lynben's planned growth and on-going customer service improvement and cost management programmes.

Commenting on the award of the implementation contract to XeBusiness, Iain Campbell, Director of Lynben said:
